The CHP Development Plan and our approach to Equality and Diversity
The CHP Development Plan outlines how we will work with other groups and organisations in your community to improve, maintain and support the health and wellbeing of the people of Inverclyde in the next 3 years. The 2010-2013 Plan sets out the key areas of necessary business we will focus on to ensure a comprehensive range of high quality health services are delivered for and with the people of Inverclyde. In the fullness of time as we move forward with the creation of Inverclyde Community Health and Care Partnership (CHCP) this plan will be amended to reflect the joint management and delivery of your services.
A focus on tackling inequality is at the core of how we deliver local health services. We are obliged through Equalities Legislation to ensure we routinely examine our services and other business to ensure that what we do does not adversely affect or discriminate against anyone who uses or may use our services. Equalities Impact Assessments are regularly carried out and a set of key milestones are set to help keep us on track - these are reflected in the CHP Development Plan for 2010-2013.
