Aim of Service
Our aim is to assist people with a learning disability to live as independently as possible within the community either with their families or in accommodation of their own with whatever support they need, We recognise that all individuals are different and that the people who care for then will know them best.
We provide health and social care services for adults (16 years +) with learning disabilities within the East Dunbartonshire area.

Description of Service
The Learning Disability Team for East Dunbartonshire is a joint service between Social Work and Health. It includes a range of health professionals and social workers so that people with a learning disability and their carers only have to deal with one place.
