Protected Learning Time (PLT)
Our local Protected Learning Time programme continues to evolve and has become an established feature of our local learning agenda. In the years since PLT was established in Inverclyde there has been a significant shift away from large-scale events towards a more practice based learning programme. This is certainly within our vision of creating time for patient and practice-centred learning activity and hopefully those of you involved in this initiative are able to contribute to its content and benefit from the time spent away from the pressures of day-to-day work.
We in the CHP continue to work to identify learning needs and priorities and balance these with areas of central policy that we consider to be most important in our local context.
PLT sessions take place 4 times a year and we are always keen to hear about ideas for PLT and any thoughts can be passed to Pauline Kay at Pauline Kay
On Wednesday 10th March 2010 an educational event on the Management of Stroke took place at the IRH Education Centre. This event was attended by local GPs, Practice Nurses and Prescribing Support Pharmacists. Please click on the link below to access the Presentations from this event.
