Young People Health & Wellbeing Survey

Renfrewshire CHP, in partnership with Renfrewshire Council Education and Leisure Services, commissioned Ashbrook Research and Consultancy to undertake a health and wellbeing survey of secondary school pupils aged 11 - 18.    Traci Leven Research was subsequently commissioned to analyse the survey findings.

The survey, in the format of a questionnaire, was completed by all Renfrewshire secondary schools and involved 50% of pupils within each year group.  The survey was undertaken during the autumn 2008 school term.

Copy of the Survey findings are detailed below:-

Information from the survey will be used as a baseline from which long-term progress will be measured and to inform the work of Community Planning Partners and individual schools.  Good quality data is essential to monitor the progress of initiatives that aim to improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people in Renfrewshire.

Copy of the questionnaire, together with an information letter issued to parents/guardians, is available from the menu on the left.
