Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is an ongoing process by which health professionals learn and develop to meet their own personal and professional needs, needs of the health service and needs of patients. CPD also enables individuals to develop and enhance a broad range of knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for practising in primary care.
